German Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation analysis of election in Goa

The German Foundation "Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung" has published an analytical report of the 2012 election results in five Indian states, among them in Goa. Regarding the results in Goa, the report, published by the Regional Office of the Foundation in New Delhi, opines that the BJB Party won the elections with a clear absolute majority due to the promises made in relation to the implementation of an anticorruption "ombudsman" within hundred days of his governance as well as with the promise to curb illegal ore mining. Besides this, the party predominantly presented candidates with a "clean record" and campaigned with the slogan "mood for change", which contributed to win the Goa Assembly elections with a comfortable margin, explains the report.

The complete report (in German) can be read here.
