Members of IGSG and friends are most welcome.<\/p>\n<p>Clube Tennis de Gaspar Dias was founded 1926 and then named \u201cClube Gaspar Dias\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>In 1934, Mrs. Josephine Hogaz, an American Industrial Magnate, introduced the game of Tennis in Goa. She also provided the finance for the making of the first tennis court in the Club premises. The Club then inherited the name of \u201cCLUBE TENNIS DE GASPAR DIAS\u201d. The Clubhouse is situated at a prime location, on Goa\u2019s most attractive Miramar Beach.<\/p>\n<p>Nearby was the Fort Gaspar Dias which construction was initiated 1598 by the Portuguese viceroy of the Portuguese Estate of India, D. Francisco da Gama. Together with the Fort of Reis Magos, located on the opposite side of the River Mandovi, the Fort Gaspar Dias served as a defense fort at the mouth of the river. Im 19. There is a long standing tradition of more than 60 years. More and more subjects in various fileds by many partners have been included in the last years and the mutual interest is expressed by government consultations on this subject every second year.<\/p>\n<p>A mile stone in this cooperation was the opening of the Indo-German Science Center (IGSTC) in Gurgaon in December 2010.
